Secure
Entry
This area is secure. The front door must be
opened by the security guard who is on duty 24/7/365. Movement
throughout the facility must be escorted at ALL times. There
is no other entry door into the facility with the exception
of the loading door which is protected by a roll down door
and may only be operated with a security officer present.

Network
Operations Center
There are one to three NOC personnel on location
at all times monitoring network operations throughout our
system. The NOC looks out into our Carrier Access room where
our core network is located.

Carrier
Room
Three of our current fiber providers locate
their equipment in this area. The cross connect panels are
also located here. The core network systems and servers
are also be located in this room. This area is served by
redundant Data Aire 26 Ton units as well as redundant power
distribution systems. There are also redundant DC rectifiers.
All fiber takes redundant paths throughout the facility
as well as having dual entry.

Municipal
Electrical
This is the panel where power comes into the
facility. It receives 7,200 AMPs of 480-Volt 3 Phase power.

ATS System
This is an ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch),
which puts the facility on generator power within 15 seconds
in the event of utility power failure. We have two ATS's
and two generators with 1250 KW and 1,500 KW.

UPS System
This is an UPS (uninterruptible power supply)
system. There are five 375 KVA UPS units. Also pictured
are the Liebert air conditioning systems. With just one
system running at 20% of its capacity, the room is kept
VERY cold. The units are alternated so that each one is
kept in optimal condition. We believe in redundancy. Everything
in the facility has at least one backup.
